My Boys

     Hey there ! As I mentioned on my front page, I have 4 boys. Well, my dh, Vince and I have 4 boys and they range in age from 11 to 5.  You’d think after having 2 boys, we might have thought about stopping, but I didn’t.  I wanted more than two kids and I wanted a girl.  My husband tried to convince me to quit at two when we were driving to the hospital to deliver our second child.  For me, this was not a conversation to be having while in labor and my darling husband agreed it wasn’t a great idea.  So we did agree on that night in February 2000 that we would discuss it the following January 2001.  You know what happened in January? You can probably have guessed it, I said , “Honey, I am pregnant” and the discussion was over.   Our number 4 is indeed our last one , he arrived three years after the last one . I really didn’t care what he or she would be at the time, I was so over the “got to have a girl” and having 4 kids was a good number.  I just wanted  a child that came healthy, happy, and quick.  How is hubby with 4 kids ? Pretty damn amazing.  Watching him, I think he would have been really bummed if we had stopped at two.

     So anyway, we have 4 boys, Adam, Kyle, Blake and Aiden.  They are all unique and equally creative. We truly never have a dull moment in our house. Yeah, it just doesn’t exist.   As I write this, I am listening to what the younger three are into in the neighboring room.  Our older son is at the acting studio where he takes acting, dance, and vocals. I am not too worried about the three because I can hear them.   Do you do this at your house? Listen from a nearby room and if you can hear what they are doing, you know that they are okay?  It’s when they are quiet, you really wonder what they are into, isn’t it ?
