Christmas is fast approaching…
Hey there, it has been a few days since I have last blogged and felt that I should get a few words in. I can not believe its Dec 5th! OMG! G is for gosh btw. I can not believe it! There are 19 days between tonight and Christmas eve and I am so not where I should be. Are you like me?
I am a self declared busy mama and in past years I have always managed to buy all the gifts or make the gifts, have them wrapped before turkey day, bake cookies and make rum balls Thanksgiving eve, and head to the post office on Black Friday to send them out. By doing this I have always enjoyed the remaining days to Christmas with little difficulty. Time after turkey day was left for decorating the inside and the outside of the house, getting my son ready for the community play, and throwing a Christmas party for my homeschool group. Well this year its just not happening. Nope, nada, not even close.What I mean is I am nowhere near as prepared as usual.
I don’t know how it happened but the days have been going by faster and each day has been full of things I like to do so in hindsight I guess that’s why.
