How I Save Money At the Supermarket
Step 1. I take s mental inventory of what I have in my pantry , freezer, and fridge. . I group up all the food items that make a meal with then list all the meals will have for the week. At most on average I have 4 meals in my pantry. The meal plan keeps me from buying unneeded food. I then look at the market weekly ads for what is on sale. I look for the deals and I brainstorm the meals which I can make with the fewest ingredients.
2. So I make my list and I put it all down so I know what I need to purchase for the week. The list really helps keep to the budget.
3. At the store, the first place that I head do is the meat ,what I am there for is the markdowns. Cuts of meat that are days away from being tossed that are closer to purchase. I have at times purchased many cuts of meat at 50% off..Sometimes I find nothing but it is often.
4. Anyway, I shop the perimeters that means the side of the store before checking out.
So to recap, I make a list of what I have and brainstorm what I can make. I make a list of meals that I will be making, and what I still need from the store. I view the weekly ads because sometimes I find something better and sometimes I find nothing at all. When I go to the store I head to the meat section first before I check out the rest of the store looking for deals before I head to the check out.
