Best Chili Ever..!

I have had chili but only one that I wanted to leave a bowl and take the pot and that was my stepdad’s chili and the recipe went with him when he passed always putting off sharing for another time. 🙁 Im the last two years that he has been gone, my family has been on a search and we recently found this. We have had it with both chicken and beef and in both versions we love it! I canned the extra for the amounts we did not consume for another time.

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 red bell pepper; seeded and chopped.
1/2 onion; diced
1- 15 oz. can pinto beans
1- 15 oz. can kidney beans
1- 15 oz. can black beans
1- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1- 10 oz can tomato puree
1- 10 oz can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies, chili fixin’s
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Directions

Brown the meat and draining the fat prior to putting it in the crock pot with all the other ingredients, blend and leave on high for 6 hours. Browning the meat ahead of time is essential, you can’t toss it in. I used 85/15so there was very little fat.
