Table of Contents

Ingredients:

3 cups of all purpose flour

4 tsp of yeast

2 tsps of sugar

4 tblsp of avocado oil

1/2 tsp of salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar

last thing,  1 and 1/3 cups of really hot water

Directions:

I put the hot water in last and mix it up really well with a spoon.  I then put on food gloves and get my hands in it to make sute I have throughly mixed it and I form it into a ball leaving in the bowl that I started with covering it up with plastic wrap  and a towel for at least 1 hour.

After the hour, I take 1/2 the ball and flatten it out in a cookie sheet. I try to make a rectangle  flattening it evenly with my fingers.  I recently purchased a smaller rolling pin to give my hands a break and gets done a little quicker. I make square with a knife and poke holes with a fork to make it like traditional saltines that you get in a white box,  Finally dusting it with sea salt and brush it with melted butter.  I repeat this again on another tray and when they are both done, I put them in the oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees rotating it  at 17 minutes.
